Cross-listing of Graduate Courses Among Departments and Programs

Courses should be assigned the same two numbers if available in two different departments (disciplines) or programs to foster interdisciplinary study as long as the content in both courses are exactly the same, upon approval of the Chairs and/or relevant Curriculum Committees of the program. Cross-listed courses must be the same course level. No special topics courses may be cross-listed unless a course description has been filed with the Office of Scheduling and Workload.
